A) Telephone Medical Assistance

PAL Travel Assistance will arrange for the provision of medical assistance for the insured passenger over the telephone.

B) Medical Service Provider Referral

PAL Travel Assistance shall provide to the insured passenger, upon request, the name, address, telephone number and, if available, office hours of physicians, hospitals, clinics, dentists, and dental clinics.

C) Arrangement of Appointments with Local Doctors for Treatment

PAL Travel Assistance will assist the insured passenger to arrange for appointments with general practitioners or specialized doctors.

D) Arrangement of Hospital Admission

If the medical condition of the insured passenger is of such gravity as to require hospitalization, PAL Travel Assistance will assist the customer in the hospital admission.

E) Monitoring of Medical Condition During and After Hospitalization

PAL Travel Assistance will monitor the insured passenger’s medical condition during and after hospitalization, subject to any and all obligations in respect of confidentiality and relevant authorization.

F) Guarantee of Medical Expenses Incurred during Hospitalization

PAL Travel Assistance will, when authorized by Alliedbankers, assist the insured passenger by guaranteeing on behalf of the insured passenger the medical expenses incurred during his/her hospitalization, up to the maximum benefit amount shown in the Table of Benefits.

G) Arrangement of Emergency Medical Evacuation due to an Accident

PAL Travel Assistance will arrange for the provision of air and/or surface transportation, medical care during transportation, communications and all usual ancillary services required to move the insured passenger to the nearest hospital where appropriate medical care is available.  PAL Travel Assistance will arrange for the provision of appropriate communication and linguistic capabilities, mobile medical equipment and medical escort crew.

H) Arrangement of Emergency Medical Repatriation due to an Accident

PAL Travel Assistance will arrange for the return of the insured passenger to his/her home or hospital in the Philippines following the insured passenger’s emergency medical evacuation and subsequent hospitalization outside his/her usual place of residence in the Philippines.  PAL Travel Assistance will arrange for the provision of appropriate communication and linguistic capabilities, mobile medical equipment and medical escort crew.

I) Arrangement of Transportation of Mortal Remains due to an Accident

PAL Travel Assistance will arrange for the transportation of the insured passenger’s mortal remains to the usual place of residence in the Philippines nominated by the passenger’s legal representatives or arrange, as requested by the passenger’s family, for local burial at the place of death.

J) Arrangement of Compassionate Visit

PAL Travel Assistance will arrange travel for one (1)  relative or a friend of the insured passenger wishing to join the insured passenger  who, when traveling alone, is hospitalized due to an Accident, subject to the policy coverage.

A) Emergency Message Transmission Assistance

In the event of an emergency or a hospital confinement, PAL Travel Assistance will undertake to keep the insured passenger’s immediate family members informed, upon the insured passenger’s or their traveling companion’s request and consent to do so.

B) Legal Referral

PAL Travel Assistance will provide the insured passenger with name, address, telephone numbers, if requested by the insured passenger and if available, office hours of referred lawyers and legal practitioners.  PAL Travel Assistance will not give any legal advice to the insured passenger.

C) Inoculation and Visa Requirement Information

PAL Travel Assistance will provide information concerning visa and inoculation requirements for foreign countries. This information will be provided to the insured passenger at any time, whether or not he/she is travelling or an emergency has occurred.

D) Interpreter Referral

PAL Travel Assistance will provide the names, telephone numbers and, if possible and requested, office hours of interpreters’ office in foreign countries.

E) Lost Luggage Assistance

PAL Travel Assistance will assist the insured passenger who has lost his/her luggage while travelling outside the Home Country or Usual Country of Residence by referring the insured passenger to the appropriate authorities involved.

F) Lost Passport Assistance

PAL Travel Assistance will assist the insured passenger who has lost their passport while travelling outside the Home Country or Usual Country of Residence by referring the insured passenger to the appropriate authorities involved.

G) Embassy Referral

PAL Travel Assistance shall provide the address, telephone number and office hours of the nearest appropriate consulate and embassy worldwide.

H) Weather and Foreign Exchange Information Services

PAL Travel Assistance shall provide information to the insured passenger regarding the exchange rate of major foreign currencies and weather forecasts and temperatures of foreign countries
